Regarding the migration of data, as I commented earlier you can export all CherryTree nodes as HTML, but if KeepNote cannot import these exported HTML file a s a block there is little point. markdown, perl, php, powershell, python, python3, r, sh. Point me to any editor which has the features of CherryTree including feature to embed blocks ofĬ, cpp, go, html, js. There is an opportunity to fine tune the GTK3 version, and to submit issues for the developers to act on, but jumping ship is not the best way forward.
Should be backward compatible but anyway the old Pygtk2 version is getting discontinued In fact I continue to use both on Ubuntu 20.04. True, the old Python2 based CherryTree is discontinued but the new GTK3 version emerges.
